Myranda V. Peterson is an indie author, artist, screenwriter and voice director. A Christian, she began her publishing journey in January 2019, when she released the first illustrated volume in her current ongoing young adult fantasy series, The Avat Prince. While experiencing moderate success in book sales, Peterson still felt that there was more to achieve.
In April of 2022, while playing Persona 5 after a long day at work, Peterson was struck with inspiration. Firmly deciding to take ownership of her childhood dream to not only write and illustrate novels but to write for animation, she set to work on designing her own 'visual novel'-type character sprites for The Avat Prince with the intention of creating animated shorts connected to the main series. Thus House MVP was officially born, with the core characters cast by the end of that spring and a pilot episode premiering at Fan Expo Boston that same August. She then engineered a proprietary "New Way to Read" hybrid media model, merging fantasy literature with audio/visual media. These "MVP TV Editions" of her books became part of the unique publishing format for her imprint, House MVP, showcasing a repeatable asset atomization strategy that maximizes production efficiency and audience retention.
To date, Peterson has independently published 8/20 volumes for The Avat Prince, began production on a separate independent hybrid project, and developed a massive digital library of 35+ unique characters, creating over 300+ separate poses to support complex visual novel and social media narrative skits. She also leads a cross-functional virtual team of 18+ international voice actors across all of her projects, and has authored production-ready scripts for 85+ animated shorts. She has also been a featured panelist and workshop leader at high-profile conventions, including Fan Expo Boston, Anime NYC and MegaCon Orlando.
